So, I NEVER do quinces (sweet fifteens), but I knew when I met Natalie, I just had to film this spectacular event. She was probably one of the coolest 14 year olds I’d ever met and she was a HUGE fan of our work (so I couldn’t resist). As it turned out, this ended up just as I expected..a huge blow-out party at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Jackie Ohh Events helped mastermind the event, with entertainment provided by DJ Laz (Power 96.5 FM) and none other than Junior’s Band (who’s group we shot a video for.. just days earlier). I actually film Quinceanera’s exclusively and must say you did a fantastic job for a first time shooting one. Many companies film them with a style that is very traditional and in a sense very staged. You did a great job as everyone said bringing out Natalie personality throughout the piece. That’s the way every quince video should be filmed. Hope you get to film more in the future. I really liked the shadow shot of her spinning. Great job!

Thank you Ray for doing such a wonderful job in capturing the spirit of our daughter, Natalie. Those that know her well and have seen the clip, agree that the lense captured the way Natalie is. Ray, your work is absolutely incredible! Did you use a 5D or an adapter? Your steadicam work looks pretty sick too, especially the running shot on the bridge… it was nearly flawless. Your films are definitely amongst the very best out there and I find it very inspiring… looking forward to watching more of it in the future!
